Brass Roots Announces Construction Start of New Headquarters
Brass Roots Technologies today announced the construction start of a new mixed-use building in Allen, Texas. The new facility located at 18 Prestige Circle will usher in a significant increase in capabilities for the custom engineering development company. Site preparation began earlier this month. Building construction is expected to complete in the first quarter of 2021 with move-in to commence immediately thereafter.
Frank Poradish, President of Brass Roots Technologies, said "This is a great milestone for Brass Roots Technologies on a journey that began in 2016 when we purchased three acres of land in Allen, TX. The plot size exceeded our immediate building needs, so we entered a lengthy process to identify the best approach to fully develop and utilize the property within the city guidelines. In 2018 we partnered with Gillett Commercial, divided the land, and entered into an agreement to simultaneously construct separate but similar buildings on each parcel to achieve the lowest possible costs of construction. In partnership with Raymond Construction, NCA Partners, American National Bank of Allen, and the Allen Economic Development Corporation, we are delighted to see our long-term vision for Brass Roots Technologies finally taking shape."
At nearly 15,000 sq ft, the company's new headquarters will more than double the work space Brass Roots has occupied since 2011. Wayne Reynolds, VP Business Development, said "With a strong mix of development labs, CNC fabrication, and warehouse space, the new facility will significantly increases Brass Roots' presence and will be purpose-built to support continued business growth in advanced engineering development services as well as in-house manufacturing of high-value opto-mechanical and electronics products."
