Brass Roots Technologies offers full turnkey hardware design of Custom HFR Formatters compatible with most DMDs offered by Texas Instruments. Each custom design features an input data and control interface (typically multi-channel SerDes) which is fully defined by the customer. All designs utilize modern Xilinx FPGAs (typically Kintex®-7 or Kintex®-UltraScale™) and high-speed DDR3 / DDR4 memories to achieve bottleneck-free data throughput. Custom PCB outline dimensions as well as mechanical and thermal management interfaces are available.
All Custom HFR Formatters are powered by advanced Gibraltar™ Processing. Customer-owned firmware can be readily integrated alongside the Gibraltar™ Processing VHDL blocks within the same FPGA.
Brass Roots Technologies also offers complete production manufacturing of Custom HFR Formatters, including test and verification of each unit prior to delivery.
